There is only little information available about this new Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Gravity timepiece. All I thought spontaneously is: It´s a déjà vu!
Cool, the new Masterpiece Gravity looks gorgeous! But guys haven´t we seen this particular design before? Of course we did!
The new Maurice Lacroix is a mixture of a Breguet Tradition and an Audemars Piguet Millenary timepiece with the AP escapement.
(Update!) >>> The new Masterpiece Gravity is the first Maurice Lacroix watch equipped with an assortment – balance roller, lever and escapement wheel – entirely made of silicon. Three times lighter than steel, this material is also more accurate, less energy-hungry and requires no lubricant.
So I leave it up to you to like or dislike the new Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Gravity look-alike-timepiece. Please let me know what you think!
I will keep you updated and I will show you first live taken pictures a.s.a.p. …

Also the tissot it looks nice and it ill so by many dressing
I like this watch a lot. Sure, it’s similar to the Breguet Tradition and AP Millenary, and a bit like the Glashutte Original PanoInverse XL, but I sort of consider these as examples of a genre, not pieces that are so defining of any respective brand that it is cheap or otherwise negative for ML to do what they’ve done. Besides, as much as I admire the Breguet and AP, their pricepoints are up there. ML will be smart to make this model more affordable.
This is very nice is among the lexurier watches in the world very nice.
Alexander, in most cases I agree with your views and judgement. But here I’m not sure if it if fair to name this watch a look-alike.
It was just a few week ago that you have made the Tissot Complication Squelette one of your favorits design watches 2013 and this watch is definitively closer to the ML Squelette than this one here is to the Breguet or to the AP. And I’m sure in reality this distance will be more significant due to the domed cristal.
But yes, I agree that the look is influenced by some designs shown during the last few years. Beside the two mentioned before I think that they had a closer look on the MB&F Legacy machine as well.
But let us wait for some live pictures…
I find it to be a very cool watch. Many BIG brands have watches of similar design. I am not a big fan of Maurice Lacroix watches but they have some really eye catching quality watches. Thums up from me.
The reason for ‘similar designs’ is because they were copied by ML…
How can you take a brand seriously, when it so shamelessly copies designs of much more established brands? Big no, no in my book.
What makes this piece unique? I’m I missing the “gravity”? I wonder if it keeps proper time in zero g? I’d put it on the next dragon and test it on an astronaut in the ISS lab. Or on George Clooney… Ha ! Might be cool…
