The Bulgari Octo Chronograph is a line extension in-between the 2012 launched Octo-Collection. The 41,5 mm big timepiece is equipped with the Zenith El Primero calibre.
You either like or you don’t like the new Octo of Bulgari. I personally did not like the classical three-hand version too much. In my eyes the watch was too bulky. The new Octo Chronograph looks much better!
The Zenith El Primero seems to fit perfectly in the very sporty case that is available either in steel with steel bracelet or with a leather strap and in 18-carat pink gold with pink gold bracelet or leather strap.
I am now looking forward for my first touch and feel …
Normally I don’t like Bulgari but I could see wearing this one.
I feel that I have reservations against the brand. But the steel version doesn’t look bad. Especially the bracelet looks interestingly different to what I am used to. And the El Primero is a fine movement.
Looks very similar to Royal Oak.
It’s a Gerald Genta design, one of his last before he passed away. He designed the Royal Oak, the Nautilus and the Bvlgari-Bvlgari.
