The latest addition to the Heritage collection is The Longines Twenty-Four Hours Single Push-Piece Chronograph. Housing a Longines-exclusive ETA-calibre, this single push-piece chronograph is a re-issue of an earlier pilot’s watch and displays the time on a 24-hour scale.

Interesting piece – but I don’t get the functions. I assume the hour hand makes one round in 24 hrs – a rather special and not so useful deviation from the standard -, the minute hand does the round in standard 60 minutes and the small second hand on the subdial at 9hrs shows the continues seconds, this leaves only the central second hand to count to 60 seconds for the chronograph function. I am confused …

A very reasonable price for an elegant complication! I think this will be a winner for Longines.

Interesting minimal styling. I can’t decide if I like the subdial or not; the 24-hour scale collides with the running seconds. I would have to see it live before passing judgment.

Longines have been producing reasonably-priced lovely watches for many years, and now, they have created another one.

Alex, this is an incredibly functional well built watch.

And, for the reasonable price, Longines again has another winner
    – look for wider contrast additional models?

    Cheers, Jon
