Anonimo is expanding their collection which features many bronze models. This material is mostly seen in sporty watches and Anonimo has changed that with their new Epurato line. This cushion shaped watch has more classical lines in bronze and stainless steel.
Anonimo Epurato line
Although the shape of the Anonimo watches are very similar which makes them highly recognisable. The new Epurato line sure is more refined compared to the Nautilo and Militare collections. Both available in stainless steel and bronze which isn’t exactly a material that you will find in a more dressy watch. So at first glance the Epurato line looks good and interesting.
They don’t come small with a case diameter of 42mm but it works and looks good on the wrist. Probably this has a great deal to do with the fact that it’s a rather thin case also. The dial gets the full attention due to a small fluted bezel. As we see on all Anonimo watches the markers at 4, 8 and 12 o’clock get some extra attention.
They are linked to the A shape of the brands logo and also divide the dial in third for a balanced look. On the Epurato model these three markers come in numerals where the other markers are applied. Just above the 6 o’clock marker there is a small aperture.
Elegance in bronze
On the right side of the case you will find the winding and setting crown. It sits between two crown guards which are elegantly shaped. When you look at the back side of the watch you will find an open caseback which gives you visible access to the Sellita movement. Behind the skeletonized rotor with Anonimo logo you can see the perlage on several parts of the movement.
As on more watches nowadays the leather straps come with a quick release system which makes it easy to change straps. Another nice details is the buckle which is nicely designed and comes in the same material as the case.
