Jean-Claude Biver is the CEO of TAG Heuer & President of the LVMH Group’s Watches Division. Roughly two hours before the world-premier of the TAG Heuer Connected watch I talked to him …
This morning I met a pretty nervous Jean-Claude Biver. We know each other for over 20 years now and I must tell I have not seen Jean-Claude being so excited and nervous the same time. What will launch this morning here in New York could change the entire watch industry. Since TAG Heuer is the very first Swiss luxury watch manufacturer to present a connected watch. I assume everyone will very closely watch, test and check what TAG Heuer put together with Intel and Google.

Listen to my conversation with Jean-Claude Biver, a man who is real mover and shaker, a man that never stands still… Always full speed!
Jean-Claude seems to like the TAG Heuer Connected watch … Just after our conversation he again started to play around with it …
Just in case… Jean-Claude Biver today wearing two watches… Reuniting the best of the traditional and modern world on his two wrists … 🙂
Dear Alexander,
Just a crazy idea to share with you: what about creating special editions of fine Swiss, Japanese, or German watches inspired by the French flag, the Eiffel Tower or the Peace for Paris sign, as a tribute to November 13th victims in Paris ?
Surely these would sell very well and the money coul benefit a good cause.
Should you find it not so crazy, fell free to pass it over to whom you think would make something of it (Mr Biver could be a start !)
Ben, watch enthousiast, mourning in Paris
