Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 600 Mk 3

The Trident Pro from Christopher Ward was introduced ten years ago and has quickly become one of the brand’s best-selling models. Today, the third generation of the Trident has been released, with a slimmer, more refined 42-mm case, a new bracelet, crown, back, clasp (with fine adjustment) and – undoubtedly the most notable change – a new, more contemporary set of hands with hand-brushed and polished facets.

Additionally, the luminosity has been optimized: Adrian Buchmann, Head of Product Design at Christopher Ward: “[customers] wanted serious improvements in Trident 2’s luminosity. This meant using top grade SuperLumiNova X1-GL-C1 throughout Trident 3, redesigning the depth of the indexes to hold a greater volume of lume paint, and adding a full-lume bezel for the first time.”

The Pro 600’s dial has also undergone a facelift, with Christopher Ward’s twin flag logo at 12 o’clock. To increase legibility, the guilloche dial of old has been replaced by a polished finish, while its indexes now use faceted and polished detailing. The new C60 Trident Pro 600 will be available in 38mm and 42mm and will also debut a new 40mm size with black dial and bezel insert. The watch offers a water resistance to depths of 600m and is powered by the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 movement with matching black date disk. The new bracelet features a quick-release mechanism first introduced on the brand’s range of leather straps. Pictured here is the Ref. C60-42ADA3-S0KK0-B0 in 42 mm. More pictures:
