Panerai is the master in celebrating black and military-type dials. The brand consequently stays in its segment. These four watches, with a blue dial, therefore are the exception rather than the rule. Have a look and tell me if you like them.
I very much appreciate at Panerai that the brand tries to stay as authentic as possible. Some say that´s even a little boring meanwhile. Ok, that´s a discussion I don’t want to start at this point … Everything is directly linked to the brands history, deviations from the “Panerai-norm” are rare. So its more than surprising to see these four new regular, not limited watches with their stunning beautiful blue dials in the collection. They are all an intense blue color with a satiné soleil finish. The latter is a process which catches the light and diffuses it, thus creating subtle flashes and fascinating, ever-changing effects.
Panerai explained me: “The blue of the sea is the common characteristic of the new series of watches produced exclusively for our boutiques throughout the world. The sea is a fundamental element, inseparably associated with the history of the brand, and today this historic link is still reflected in its sponsorship of the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge, the prestigious regattas for classic sailing boats.”

I like them, they look gorgeous. Of course you all know, that I very much like blue dials and the color blue in general.
The only blemish for me are the prices. I would call them ambitious!
But, whats you opinion? Let me know!
I have to agree with you Alexander about the 10 day pricing. It is really ambitious as you say. I don’t get why 7 days more costs 4600 Euro more. The rose gold pricing is also rather ambitious.
But the three day versions seem right in line with typical Panerai pricing. For a Panerai a manufacture GMT 8400/8900 Euro seems correct. Panerai is simply expensive.
Personally I am partial to the Luminor and love the blue version but my wife thinks the Luminor’s line crown guard is ugly. So….
She says I have too many blue watches anyway.
