These are moments in life you will probably never forget. We met Lang Lang at noon at the private home of Jean-Claude Biver near St. Tropez, then we had lunch at the famous Le Club 55 in Ramatuelle and we spent the afternoon together. In the evening superstar Lang Lang played a private piano concert at White 1921, a small Boutique Hotel in St. Tropez at the French Riviera.

I met Lang Lang before, but never in such a relaxed and familiar atmosphere. Lang Lang had a lot of fun this afternoon; he was so relaxed that talking to him felt like knowing him for many, many years. Lang Lang talked about his life, his career and yes he joked around with all of us.

I amazed by people who claiming that the prices of watches are too high . Do you know how many years take to develope any movement ? How many hours takes to polish each part and the to assemble the watch ? Each watch in high end wristwatches is assembled by hand . It may take 1-2 months id the movement is complicated. Every penny for in the price of watch is counted by those hours of work. So , common , give a respect .
Mozart also was a geniuos 🙂
Lang Lang , as great as he is at playing the piano, is no Mozart. It seems like this site is being taken over by the clever marketing of people like Mr Biver. I know you have to have a good working relationship with the watch companies but too much sucking up.

I wisit the watch shop in London Heatrow on my way to the Middle East, informed Hublot was the most popular brand, people were more than happy to pay Mr Biver recommended price, thus Rolex were cheaper.

They both are hard workers in their fields. You can not play piano like Lang Lang if you did not exercize 8-9 hours per day .

It looks like you had a good time with Mr Biver in his home and Lang Lang. One is world master of the piano and the other is master of getting people to believe overpriced Hublot is a must have item like a Rolex.
Jean-Claude Biver and Lang Lang both are incredible human success stories today. Both worked hard and still do… Both deserve highest respect! If you do not like Hublot buy another brand, the choice today is huge and you can easily find a watch that will fit you. I can tell you the only watch brands on the wrists I saw in the last days in St. Tropez were Bulgari, Cartier, Hublot and Rolex … If Hublot today belongs to this luxurious club this is due to Jean-Claude Biver. Believe me, if I would be able to do the same what Biver did, I would do exactly the same…
Alex, would you say that a Hublot would not draw as much unwanted attention from thieves, as a Rolex would ,because it is not as well known World Wide among average people ? In other words what I am saying is that it is less conspicuous when traveling abroad .
I appreciate mr. Biver work, he is truly a visionaire and marketing genious, but Hublot has many more stronger references than being present on st. Tropez crowd wrist… to be honest, st. Tropez nouveaux riches Hublot love is what drive away Hublot from real WIS and they even spit on techical marvels like laferrari that Hublot makes… but at the end of the day it0s all business and money, and there are more NR than WIS in Hublot market…
