An exclusive insight with Jérôme Lambert, the CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre

Jerome Lambert, CEO Jaeger-LeCoultre

I asked Jérôme Lambert what in his opinion are the big challenges for the upcoming future of Jaeger-LeCoultre. The manufacturer in the Vallée de Joux has in the past set so many benchmarks so he has to continue to be creative und innovative.  This is not always easy and Jérôme is going to tell you how he matches this goal.First of all I want to tell you we are back and I am going to be very active on the blog now. In the background our IT had to make some essential changes in the last couple of days and so nothing happened here. Now the things are set, some last changes and adjustments have to be done and than we are ready to start with full speed.

Actually I am in Paris, so be sure to come back tomorrow, since I will be able to show you a brand new watch developed for the inauguration of the new Jaeger-LeCoultre-Boutique here in Paris. And believe me this will not be a watch with three hands on the dial… Jérôme announced me something rely thrilling and I will be able to discover the watch tomorrow. Tonight I will before be able to see a customized exhibition of Jaeger-LeCoultre at the famous Orsay Museum. I will put some pictures online later…

Back to Jérôme Lambert. I was in the Vallée de Joux last week and I met Jérôme for this interview. Believe me it is not easy to get the CEO since he travels a lot and he is extremely busy. We know each other for many many years so I was happy to see him again after quite a while. In the interview Jérôme gave me an update where Jaeger-LeCoultre stings today and where the brand will develop to. Interesting also the fact, that the typical client of Jaeger-LeCoultre is changing and the manufacturer has to adopt from time to time. Jaeger-LeCoultre´s clients are more and more demanding and they are well informed about the brand.

No more words at that point let´s hear what Jérôme told me…

Look what gorgeous watch Jérôme was wearing: The Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre à Quantième Lunaire. The unique technical nature and distinctive styling of the Duomètre clearly place it in the most exclusive echelons of watchmaking fine art. Its new-generation movement is based on an unprecedented concept nicknamed Dual-Wing. A genuine revolution in terms of watchmaking precision, the Dual-Wing concept is composed of two separate watch mechanisms connected by a shared regulating organ.
