The Swatch Sistem51 is the Swiss made mechanical watch that has turned the old and traditional watch world upside down. It’s not made by hand, but on a fully automated assembly line.
The more exclusive a mechanical watch is, the more it is made by hand. For connoisseurs this is the summum bonum, the proof for traditional watchmaking. Swatch Sistem51, on the other hand, is a mechanical watch for everyone. It’s not made by hand, but on a fully automated assembly line.

Invented by Swatch, Sistem51 is not just a technological wonder, but also a brand new canvas for creative artists and designers: every surface is a new place to play with colours, shapes and exciting compositions.
The rotor that winds the watch turns on its axis, each new design is suddenly kinetic, a fascinating work of art-in-motion.
Every Sistem51 is 100% Swiss made!
In my eyes Sistem51 is beautiful technology!
Five models debut in the new Swatch 2015 collection.
Swatch SISTEM PINK (SUTR401)
Swatch SISTEM GREEN (SUTG400)
Swatch SISTEM CHIC (SUTB402)
Swatch SISTEM CLASS (SUTS402)
Swatch SISTEM CREAM (SUTM400)
Please Remember!
Swatch Sistem51 is NOT a quartz watch, Sistem51 has no need for a battery. Every Sistem51 is powered by the person who wears the watch.
Every single movement of the wrist sets the rotor in motion. Through a wheel chain the rotor steadily winds the watch.
Every Sistem51 features an ‘automatic’, or ‘self-winding’ movement consisting of only 51 parts. Even when laid to rest for a good while, Sistem51 continues to tick for an exceptional 90 hours.
The new Sistem51 models are sold for 135 Euro including 20 % VAT here in Austria beginning next week Friday, the 26th February.

I would prefer any cheapo Chinese $10+ automatic watch over one of these. The watchguy has a tear down to see why, its crap! I hope they have some of the early problems sorted but they look horrible to boot! That just compounds its sins IMO
You may not like the design, that’s ok… I personally like it a lot… But you will never find anything comparable quality wise on the market. Until today I own three Sistem51 and I am asking myself wha I have ever spent mor money for a mechanical wristwatch … Accuracy is incredible and the 90 hours power reserve very useful… The Sistem51 represents best Swiss watchmaking at an attractive entry price level. That’s a mechanical revolution!

I agree with Steve. The Pink one is the best, but I am not sure I could wear that. The design of the others is not really convincing, I must admit. But I am sure those are not the only Sistem 51 watches we will see in 2015.
I like the atomic pattern of the Sistem Pink but pink really isn’t my color. ‘-)
The other designs are OK dial wise but they are also sort of typical.
