Rolex GMT-Master II

Now I have the first live taken pictures of the Rolex novelties 2014 and some additional information for you. Enjoy!

Rolex showed me the new Sea-Dweller 4000 that in analogy to all the other sport watches has been reworked and the movement has been equipped with the paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring.

Well, another ground shaking, revolutionary release from rolex! Viewing any new release from Rolex is always as boring and mundane as the last ( save the new Cellini offering- wonderful)… When you sell a million watches a year and wow the crowd with a new colored bezel that is considered big news, you must be doing something right- marketing ; that’s what Rolex does best!
Let’s face it, Rolex is a decent, rugged watch that sells for many, many thousands of dollars more than it should. The Rolex desk diver man is proud to announce that he too is a sheep that lacks the imagination to explore the unlimited choices that the industry offers. With all the money and industrial prowess that Rolex has, why oh why can they not give us something truly worthy of
a headline – As we now have a new CEO who is a graduate of the school of “Biver”, please give us something to get excited about. And I do not mean a pink and orange bezel. – ciao

As usual from Rolex: subtle but well thought out updates. This is what keeps the brand identity classic. If the SD4000 is thinner and more wearable than the DeepSea, then I want one! The GMT Master is very good too. Bravo!!

Nice! I particularly like the GMT Master 2. Rolex at its best. A classic reborn in modern materials. I would also like to see an affordable sky-dweller!

in my opinion, in general these updates are really weak compared to what Omega launched.
Also, they missed the opportunity to launch a more affordable stainless version of the Sky Dweller.

Alex, any word about the size, available metals and the price for new Cellini Collection?
I do think all three look just spectacular!
