The Watch Art Patek Philippe Grand Exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London

Here are 25 more pictures showing you some of the most spectacular timepieces one could discover at the Watch Art Patek Philippe Grand Exhibition until last Sunday.

The exhibition was a huge success. More than 40.000 people saw over 400 exceptional timepieces distributed throughout more than twenty-one themed areas.

In part 1 of my reportage I gave you an overview and already some insights. These pictures shall highlight some of the most interesting timepieces I did not show you yet…

This is the pocket watch that Antoine Norbert de Patek (he is one of the founders of the company) was wearing from 1839 until 1842 …

Alexander, I would really wish you could talk to PP public relations representative about their co-founder’s first and last name spelling.
His name was ANTONI NORBERT PATEK.
    NOT Antoine Norbert De Patek.
This spelling gives a false and misleading understanding that Mr Patek was French which is certainly not true.
Mr. Patek was Polish, an officer in Polish army, a refugee being sought by Russian military police after fighting in November Uprising.
There is no evidence that he has ever, officially, changed his name.
Alexander, please ask PP to use a proper name of their most important founder.
(The other one was named Franciszek Czapek- Mr Patek’s brother in arms).
    Sincerely,
    Tom W.
