A new automatic watch with complications : Charlie Watch Initial Power Reserve
Ambroise and Adrien wished to draw a watch that one could keep for years with an elegant and timeless design. Developed with interchangeable buffalo, lizard or ostrich straps, this new watch embodies their desire to progressively move upmarket and to offer a wider collection of automatic watches.
Quality and Modernity
Equipped with the 9132 movement of the Japanese manufacturer Citizen Miyota, the Initial Power Reserve offers in addition to the hour, minute and second functions and the date, the power reserve indicator with the digits 0 and 40 in red and the 24-hour counter on the dial.
To affirm the identity of this model, its harmonious shapes are slightly more angular, the horns as well as the hands of the hours and minutes have more character and have more definite forms than t heir previous pieces . However, Charlie Watch managed to keep its favourite details: on the sandblasted white dial, affixed fine chrome-plated indexes stand out perfectly as soon as the light reflects. Distinctive blue needles add a touch of modernity to the set and straps are still interchangeable thanks to Flash pumps. Finally, a transparent background reveals the wheels of the movement and offers the opportunity to appreciate all the complexity and finesse of this jewel.
To sum up, this watch is a real piece of horology available from 595€, still designed and assembled in Paris. The first 300 Initial Power Reserve owners will have the privilege to get a numbered piece.
