What is impressing here is that you will only encounter timepieces with 100 % in-house calibres. That´s the result of an ongoing investment of Chopard in its own movement production: On the one hand side there is the this year 20 year “old” L.U.C manufacture and the new Fleurier Ebauche manufacture. The latter is responsible to produce less expensive calibres in of course much bigger quantities.
I am working on a story about 20 years L.U.C manufacture in Fleurier. As soon it ist ready it will got online.

Chopard Mille Miglia 2016 XL Race Edition
The Mille Miglia 2016 XL Race Edition is powered by a calibre, that was entirely developed, designed and assembled in the Chopard workshops. The Chopard Calibre 03.05-C is a new mechanical self-winding movement equipped with a column wheel and it is chronometer-certified by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC). It powers the hours, minutes, seconds, chronograph and aperture-type date functions, while ensuring a comfortable 60 hours of operating autonomy.

Chopard Superfast Porsche Motorsport 919 – Limited Victory Edition looks truly stunning, yet this watch would be very difficult to acquire, as only 17 pieces would be available.
Apart from that Chopard Mille Miglia 2016 XL Race Edition also looks fabulous, yet this is also a limited edition of 1,000 pieces.
Chopard L.U.C Perpetual Chrono also looks outstanding, yet at €83,730/- it is simply beyond my means.
I also like the looks of Chopard L.U.C Perpetual Twin and though at €22,500/- it is also pretty expensive, I guess somehow I would be able to afford it.
