It was a memorable evening. As part of the ninth Laureus Charity Night yesterday evening, 600 prominent figures from the worlds of sport, business, politics and show business collected donations totalling 1.1 Million Swiss francs.
Among the items that went under the hammer were an exclusive Portugieser Tourbillon Mystere Retrograde from IWC Schaffhausen and a 1960 Mercedes Benz 190 SL W21. As always, the proceeds of the benefit event will go entirely to the various sport promotion projects organized by the Laureus Foundation.
