Swatch is fun, Swatch is wearing a high-qialty Swiss made watch for almost no money. I belong to those horological contemporaries who simply love Swatch. Swatch is an attitude towards life you want to share or not. Ready for my Xmas 2015 selections?
Some of you will probably laugh now. Why? In my last answers to comments to the article I wrote about the quality efforts Omega takes to certify its watches as a Master Chronometer I wrote that quartz watches have no “soul”, are “dead”.
Yes, but when it comes to Swatch I make an exemption from the rule.
A Swatch watch defines itself by its design, by its high coolness-factor, by the fun to wear it and not so much by the importance of timekeeping. But, and this the good thing about it, the Swatch wristwatches perfectly keep time due to their high-tech Swiss made ETA quartz movements.
So if you tick like I do and if you share my ongoing passion for Swatch have a look at my selection of absolute Christmas 2015 musts and let me present you the official Swatch Xmas Special 2015 “Lucinfesta” …
And this is my personal selection for you guys:

One month ago I purchased a Hamilton, Khaki, Aviation, QNE Auto watch. It has an automatic Swiss Movement and is very accurate.I mention it here because Hamilton is now owned by Swatch. Hamilton is considered to be a mid range watch price wise.
My wife just bought our son the Flik Flak Stellquoise for his 4th birthday. Never too early to get them into this hobby. He really enjoys turning the bezel and seeing the hands glow in the dark. It’s a good short term diversion before he starts raiding my watch box.
Mark, BRAVO to you and your wife, well done!!! This is how it should be done. Kids simply need to wear a watch with hands. Its so sad to learn that more and more kids can no longer read the time from a classical watch…
Nice 🙂
