OMEGA Seamaster 300 Spectre Limited Edition. Finally, after all these years, the NATO-strap makes it way back to a Bond movie…

OMEGA Seamaster 300 Spectre Limited Edition with grey/black NATO-strap

We all remember Sean Connery wearing a Rolex Submariner with a grey/black NATO-strap in the movie Goldfinger. Since then the NATO-strap disappeared from the screens in Bond movies. In Spectre we will see this ultra-cool watch. Please click on “read more” to get the story…

If you follow my work also on  INSTAGRAM  then you know that I spottet exactly this watch in one of the first video clips promoting the new Bond movie Spectre some weeks ago.

Now we have certainty!

Here is the new OMEGA Seamaster 300 Spectre Limited Edition with grey/black NATO-strap:

The OMEGA Seamaster 300 Spectre Limited Edition features a bi-directional, rotating diving bezel, made from black, polished ceramic, combined with a LiquidMetal 12 hour scale, so that time can be kept with any country in the world. Other unique features include the “lollipop” central seconds hands, as well as the 5-stripe black and grey NATO-strap.

On the bracelet’s strap holder, the 007 gun logo has been engraved.

Each Seamaster has its own unique serial number engraved on the back along with the Spectre film logo, celebrating the latest on-screen adventure.

After Rolex and various other brands like Seiko, the Omega Seamaster has been James Bond’s watch since GoldenEye in the year 1995. In my eyes, with its naval history and classic style, the watch perfectly reflects Bond’s character.

The Seamaster 300 Spectre Limited Edition will be limited to 7,007 pieces. It will be available in selected boutiques from September 2015.

Last week i was able to het my hands on a seamaster 300. What a great watch and i love every second wearing it.

My seamaster still has got the metal bracelet but this NATO strap is very nice as well.
    Thank you for the pictures.

    1. This is a special edition for Spectre, in the regular Omega collection you find the Seamaster with the diving bezel. Put this Omega NATO strap on one and you have your dive watch 🙂

This watch looks fantastic – be it with or without Bond. Do you happen to have pictures of the back?

Nice bezel, can’t get past the dial though, add those ugly hands and you have a watch I’ll never purchase. Incidentally, I did own a Seamaster Pro300 Q, still have an early Sub and Explorer so the JB / Fleming films likely played a part in the purchase of all three watches.

Initially Rolex was used by Sean Connery in the Bond movies, as the author Ian Fleming was a Rolex fan.

Then from Golden Eye onward, only Omega was used by James Bond and nothing else
