TAG Heuer just presented its unique Carrera Calibre 5 RING MASTER Special Edition Tribute to Muhammad Ali in gold that will be auctioned tonight and its special edition steel watches at the legendary Gleason’s Gym boxing club in Brooklyn.
According to the motto of “do good and make it known” I want to present you the very special and unique gold watch and the limited series of Carrera Calibre 5 RING MASTER Special Edition Tribute to Muhammad Ali in a steel case.
To celebrate the GOAT – the “Greatest Of All Time”- a charity event is being held tonight at the famous Gleason’s Gym in DUMBO, Brooklyn where Muhammad Ali trained. The event starting at 7:00 pm is being hosted by TAG Heuer and Muhammad Ali Enterprises, with all proceeds going to The Muhammad Ali Center.
The honorary event tonight is being attended by Lonnie Ali, Muhammad Ali’s past opponents including George Chuvalo and Earnie Shavers, boxers whose careers were inspired by him such as Evander Holyfield, Roberto Durán, and Julio César Chávez.
As you all know Muhammad Ali is responsible for some of the most legendary moments in sports and civil rights history. More than 50 years after he emerged as a Gold Medallist at the 1960 Rome Olympics, Ali remains one of the most recognizable men in in the world. His incomparable work ethic, revolutionary techniques, and fearlessness towards standing up for his beliefs, all contribute to the legend that is Muhammad Ali. Among his countless awards and accolades, he was named Sports Illustrated’s “Sportsman of the Century”, GQ’s “Athlete of the Century”, is a United Nations Messenger of Peace, and has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Amnesty International Lifetime Achievement Award.
TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 RING MASTER Special Edition Tribute to Muhammad Ali
A commemorative unique timepiece made of gold is being presented by The Muhammad Ali Center (Louisville, Tennessee), with a pair of Muhammad Ali-autographed boxing gloves, a commemorative medal, and certificates of authenticity, all stored in a custom studded leather case made in Switzerland for the occasion.
The unique Carrera Calibre 5 RING MASTER Special Edition Tribute to Muhammad Ali was inspired by the famous TAG Heuer Ring-Master stopwatch introduced in 1957 and now on display in the TAG Heuer museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland. The Ring-Master was equipped with 7 rings, each one featuring a different scale, including one for boxing.
This unique gold watch was auctioned tonight at 08:00 p.m. here in at the Gleason’s Gym with all proceeds going to The Muhammad Ali Center for 88.000 USD.
Since the watch just mentioned is a unique piece TAG Heuer at the event also unveiled a collection of special edition steel timepieces called “Tribute to Muhammad Ali” inspired by the famous TAG Heuer Ring-Master watch. These unlimited watches will be sold for 3000 USD each.

A watch with interchangeable external rings duplicating the utility of the 1957 Ringmaster stopwatch would be interesting indeed.
Not so sure I agree with Bivers’ interpretation of surname. Heuer is Heuer. TAG is just a corporate identity tag, pardon the pun 🙂
I don’t agree either as you might have heard in the interview but it is way of seeing TAG … besides this JCB is doing an incredible job at TAG Heuer…
