I’m retired and never know the date or day but I’m always aware what month it is. It would be a useful feature if it had the day of the week in addition to the date and year. Everything but the month script is great.

This is a very infrequent miss by Omega.
Too busy and cartoonish for a watchmaker who typically post timeless, elegant designs.
    Will pass

The lady Omega dating agency their have put on their Internet page lis butiful and looks stunning in her blue dress, I believe it will be a dogs fight to set up a date.

Very beautiful. Love the blue script, ideal size, creative idea and balanced design. Wow. I think it can also be worn on black for a formal look and brown for a more casual approach. CHF 8.000 sounds attractive as well.

I think is a beautifull watch… the month on the dial is a practical idea…
    Good job Omega…

A handsome timepiece. I expected nothing less from Omega. Flawless, in my humble opinion.

What I like best about it is that the month-hand appears to be sprung (i.e. “tick” from month indicator to month indicator). It points to the middle of the month while the date window shows only the 8th (assuming this is not a photoshop mistake).

This globemaster is in a line of beautiful omega watches, the month indication is a great idea but i’m not sure about the writing.also the hand for the month indication sound be more different that the seconds hand.

Maybe it’s just a little bit too much on the dail…….

I acgree. The script is too much on the SS model and having the second hand and month hand the same colors is another mistake on this model. With the blue strap, blue text, blue hands, it is just too much color for me on an otherwise classy watch. I saw the gold model that was also previewed and with the lighter colored text, it all works.

I’m not usually an afficionado for Omega. But I do like this one. A nice idea for the date. Does any other maker use this?

This watch would surely be on the wishlist of umpteen number of Omega lovers.

I heard that the price of this Omega would be around CHF 8,000 and I would certainly love to get it.

This Globemaster is a beauty. I’m ready to add it to my collection. Going to 40+mm dia. is welcomed.

Very nice I like the blue dial and the simplicity. Obviously the big question will be at what price point it will be offered in the market.

  13. says: Eugene

Congratulations to Team Omega for adding another classic and striking piece to the collection. Whilst enjoying the equally striking images provided, one question that comes to mind about the dial design is why hasn’t it been thought of by anyone earlier, or has it?

The movement is very nice in how it displays the month, if they find a less tacky dial design to set it behind, it might become really interesting. The real news here appears to be the price though, I read under 8k. Impressive.
